Pets love to chew. They'll munch on sticks, furniture, shoes and even plants. However, some of those plants could be toxic. By educating yourself about which plants are dangerous, you can ensure that you create a safe environment for your pet.
Plants are often sprayed with insecticides, which can make nontoxic plants dangerous to pets. Before bringing home any plant, ask the nursery what kinds of insecticides they used on the plant.
One tip to keep your pet from chewing on plants is to spray lemon juice on the leaves. Most pets hate the taste and will leave your plants alone.
