March 5, 2010, Newsletter Issue #58: Pet Obedience Training Help

Tip of the Week

You have barely been able to teach your new pup its name. How are you going to manage a whole slew of additional commands? You desperately need some pet obedience training help. Does the Dog Whisperer make house calls?

Actually, you can find books and even instructional DVDs by the Dog Whisperer and a host of other dog training experts at bookstores or in your local library. You can also head to several pet store chains or your local American Kennel Club group for obedience classes. However, the best way to effectively train your pet is to consistently and patiently repeat a command and show your pet how to obey the command until it is able to obey you without hesitation.
